Vince Zampella, Dies in a California Vehicle Accident
The co-creator of Call of Duty, who helped create the globally famous video game Call of Duty, has tragically died in a car accident in the state of California he was 55 years old.
Zampella's death was confirmed by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the development studio he co-founded.
The influential video game developer died after his vehicle was involved in a crash and burst into flames on a motorway in Los Angeles on this past Sunday, US media outlets report.
"This is an unimaginable loss, and our hearts are with Vince's loved ones, his family, and the countless individuals inspired by his creative vision," a representative from Electronic Arts said.
