Spurs fans who jeered keeper Guglielmo Vicario were informed later "those individuals cannot be real Tottenham fans" by boss Frank.

Spurs conceded two scores in the opening initial moments to lose 2-1 to their opponents, marking their tenth Premier League home loss of 2025.

However the main talking point was Fulham's next score when the keeper lost the ball well outside his area.

He came out to handle a high pass and took the ball towards the sideline.

But, rather than kicking it out of play, the Italian spun and attempted to clear away, but slipped as the ball glanced off Harry Wilson and was collected by Josh King.

King passed the ball off to Welsh midfield player Wilson, who curled a shot into the net from the touchline recorded at 36.6 metres.

Moments later when the ball came to Vicario once more, some Tottenham supporters jeered him.

The team were booed off at half-time, with the side 2-0 behind, and again at the final whistle.

A particular of those jeering episodes truly angered Frank.

"I heard a few of our supporters apparently booed the situation and jeered following, which, in my view is totally unacceptable," the Danish manager stated regarding the fans' response to his goalkeeper.

"[They] cannot be real Spurs fans that act that way. Alright jeering following the game, no problem, but when we are in play, we are supporting each other, we are behind each other moving ahead."

Tete had handed the visitors a fourth-minute advantage before Wilson's goal – with Kudus scoring for Spurs in an improved second period showing.

Ex- Premier League goalkeeper Hart remarked that the next score was "totally avoidable".

"I certainly understand the supporters' disappointment," the ex-keeper added. "I am aware the role the keeper is playing. He's a excellent squad member, he is a real figure in the dressing room but ultimately you are going to be assessed by your actions.

"He was deeply implicated in what ended up to be the winning goal."

"When you're behind 2-0 following the opening, there is a mountain to overcome," said Frank.
