Football Expert Sutton Faces Off Against Singer Olly Murs in Top Flight Predictions
Arsenal's ten-match victorious run was ended by Sunderland prior to the global break, but will the Premier League leaders recover against local foes Tottenham this Sunday?
"{I feel like Arsenal are light years ahead of Tottenham at the moment but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this match," remarked football specialist Chris Sutton.
"Frank will attempt to neutralize Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating finest this season - but Mikel Arteta's side usually still find a way to win."
The analyst is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League games this term, versus artificial intelligence, fans and a range of guests.
In the twelfth round, he takes on singer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United fan.
The singer's latest album, the new release, is out on Friday.
Soccer and Family Experiences
Olly is a skilled soccer player as well as a accomplished artist and has been a featured player of multiple charity football matches over time - but he is not planning a serious comeback as a player.
"{I actually played in a charity match the other evening for a friend of mine," he said. "My team was trailing 3-1 when I came off in the 60th minute, and they went on to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you want!
"I continue to love football, but I hurt my joint a few years ago and it still hasn't fully recovered. I hope I could play more but the unpredictability of the sport means it's too dangerous for me in my career to do it properly again.
"Additionally I am 41 now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very content not playing football and I am gearing up for the moment that my child or son decides to play instead."
The singer and his wife Amelia Tank have two children, Madison and Albert, and he is prepared to follow in his father's footsteps by taking on the role of their coach.
"I won't force football on our children but I've previously told my wife that if they do get the passion for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will probably be managing their Saturday football side," he said.
"I watched my nephews play a lot, and I truly got into it, and I obviously was involved with a soccer team for a while too.
"My father did it with us when I was a child, which is probably where I get it from. He coached our team for two or three seasons and had a wonderful time with it. That could be the future for me as well, and I am excited to it!"
Top Division Forecasts
Saturday, 22 November
- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
The Blues may have to be patient for Cole Palmer's comeback from injury but their offense is already stronger with Joao Pedro and Delap both returned to fitness.
In my opinion this fixture will be fairly close, however. The Clarets are well organised and their only at Turf Moor defeats so far have been against the Reds and the Gunners.
This suggests a one-all draw to me, but I am actually going to go with Chelsea to win narrowly for what would be their third consecutive Premier League win in a row.
The expert's prediction: 1-2
The singer's pick: The Blues will be superior. 1-3
Artificial intelligence's outlook: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Cherries have been defeated in their past two matches - albeit both of them were on the road - but they got absolutely spanked by Villa last time out which shocked me.
On the other hand, the Hammers won back-to-back victories before the international break and, although both of those games were at home, they do look competitive again.
The Hammers' sole on the road victory this campaign came at Nottingham Forest in the summer, when their boss Nuno was still that team's coach.
Therefore, what exactly do I predict here - can the Hammers continuing their streak under Nuno, or Bournemouth bouncing back?
I will go with Bournemouth, because I believe what happened against Villa was a blip.
Sutton's prediction: 2-0
The guest's outlook: The home team are performing strongly but West Ham have improved under their boss. 2-2
AI's prediction: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Bees were considered one of the favourites for the drop before the season began, but they have impressed a few people under their manager and are in fine fettle with three wins in their past four matches.
My son advised me to select Brentford forward Igor Thiago in my Fantasy Football squad a few weeks back and, guess what, I didn't listen.
Thiago will likely find the net again on Saturday but I am nonetheless not going to select him or back Brentford at Amex Stadium.
The Bees have not had much success on the travel this term, and Brighton are consistently strong at home. The visitors will try to attack on the break but I feel the home manager's side pose much more of a threat.
The analyst's forecast: 2-1
Olly's prediction: This could be one of those games where you think there is going to be a lot of scores but it in reality turns out to be rather tight. 1-1
The computer's prediction: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
This is a massive fixture for Fulham, who have suffered defeat in five of their past six matches.
They have got lots of talent in their squad but it nonetheless feels like they could be dragged into a drop zone battle.
As for the Black Cats, indeed they are the unexpected success of the Premier League season so far.
Their display in the 2-2 draw with the Gunners last time out was superb. We have not seen anyone else disrupt the North London side like that this season, and they were fully competitive for them.
The sensible thing would be to back the Black Cats here, because they are clearly able of roughing Fulham up too and, the last time they were in this part of London, they beat Chelsea at the close of last month.
But I am not going to choose that. Instead, I really need to continue opposing the away team with my forecasts. I am taking a lot of responsibility for their good results because they clearly love to prove me wrong.
Looking at the home side's at Craven Cottage form, the only side they have lost to is the league leaders. Their manager's side will be absolutely eager for a positive outcome, so I am going to say they will secure three points.
The expert's prediction: 1-0
Olly's choice: I know the visitors are doing well and also that the hosts are on a poor run... but they have still been respectable at Craven Cottage this campaign. 2-0
The algorithm's outlook: 2-0
- Anfield, 15:00 GMT
This is a hard one to call. Liverpool have lost seven of their last ten games in all competitions, but could they be one of the sides who profit from the {international break|
