Emma Raducanu wraps up the current season and will keep trainer for 2026.
Raducanu advanced to round three in three out of four Grand Slam events this year.
Britain's Emma Raducanu will not compete in her remaining competitions in 2025 due to the illness she has been battling for the last week and a half.
At 22 years old had planned to participate in events in Asia but chose to travel back to regain her health prior to beginning next year's training.
Her upcoming training will involve her coach Francisco Roig, as the pair have agreed to work together in 2026.
The tennis professional had her blood pressure taken while playing the initial match with Ann Li in Wuhan last week and withdrew when trailing 6-1 4-1 on an oppressively humid day.
She needed once more a doctor's assessment at this week's Ningbo Open, where she was defeated in three sets to local wildcard Zhu Lin in round one.
Her movement was far from freely in the third set versus Zhu due to a lower back issue that has been a concern during parts of the season.
Such performances followed a positive campaign, in which she climbed into the international top 30 for the first time since her previous ranking, concluded with three straight losses.
She held three match points then was defeated by American player Jessica Pegula in the third stage in Beijing last month.
The player achieved 28 matches in the current season and reached the semi-finals in the Washington tournament, but her standout performance was at the Miami event in March.
The British number one made the last eight of a premier WTA event, beating eighth seed Emma Navarro en route then falling in a three-set match to the world number four Pegula.
Her coach was Mark Petchey as coach from Miami until Wimbledon, with Francisco Roig stepping in for the US Open.
The first plan with Rafael Nadal's former coach was for the remainder of the year but the partnership will continue, with planned training sessions for the end of the year.
Raducanu told that a three-day test period alongside Roig after Wimbledon was like a "covert operation" as the meeting was kept under wraps.
She came very close to defeating top-ranked Aryna Sabalenka at their first tournament together in August's Cincinnati tournament.
Roig was also with Raducanu in New York, where she made the third stage then falling to Rybakina, champion at Wimbledon in 2022.
